This gallery covers an area of London called the East End. The East end has been at the forefront of conflict and hard living for centuries, and is now of great historical interest. Formerly the docks area for all imported goods coming into London, from all over the world. The area was heavily bombed during world war 2, resulting in a huge amount of redevelopment some decades later. It is now a mixture of upmarket apartments, and council estates. Canary Wharf doesn't only dominate the business world but also the surrounding landscape.
